KUALA LUMPUR: The Cabinet has approved a proposed amendment to the Federal Constitution to make the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) autonomous and independent of the civil service.
But the challenge is getting the two-thirds majority in Parliament that the amendment requires, according to Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Paul Low Seng Kuan.
