ALOR SETAR: An eight-year-old girl died Friday night in the Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital here, and her family claimed she had succumbed to leptospirosis (rat fever).
Amirah Maisarah Zir Omar Khan, the eldest of three girls in the family, was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday for high fever, her aunt Norlaila Mohamad, 32, said Saturday when met at the hospital.
