ROS directs MIC to hold fresh polls as joint AGM for party wings postponed

KUALA LUMPUR: The Registrar of Societies (ROS) has directed the MIC to hold fresh elections for the positions of three vice-presidents and 23 central working committee (CWC) members within three months, a senior party official confirmed here. 

He said two ROS officials handed over the letter to party secretary-general A. Prakash Rao at his office at the MIC headquarters at 6.30pm on Friday.
