Mechanic charged with causing woman’s death


GEORGE TOWN: A mechanic, who made the news when a woman died after an apparent fight with him over careless garbage dumping, has been charged with causing her death.

Chow Teik Leong (pic), 53, was charged in the Sessions Court under Section 304(a) of the Penal Code with intentionally causing the death of Lee Seoh Pheng, 47, by knocking her down in a lane near the Taman Desa Intan flats in Jalan Thean Teik, Bandar Baru, Air Itam.
