A BILL to increase the allowance of Members of Parliament (MPs) has been deferred after representatives from both sides of the divide argued for a higher hike.
Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim withdrew the Members of Parliament (Remuneration) (Amendment) Bill 2014 before its second reading, to be tabled at the next Dewan Rakyat meeting.
