PETALING JAYA: Police are still hot on the trail of what is believed to be remnants of the notorious Mamak Gang, a group most noted for the RM12mil Subang airport gold bar heist in 1994.
Initially comprising six brothers from Kuala Kangsar, the gang gained notoriety after pulling off the pre-dawn gold heist at the cargo complex of the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport by impersonating police officers.
