Malays being driven out of Penang, claims Wanita Umno delegate

KUALA LUMPUR: A Wanita Umno delegate from Penang has called for the introduction of a new Act to preserve Malay settlements in the state, which she claimed were being taken over by non-Malays ever since the DAP came to power.

A delegate from Batu Kawan, Rohaya Abu Ismail said Malays were being driven out from a settlement in Balik Pulau as the DAP-led state government had allowed non-Malays to buy property in the area.
