KUALA LUMPUR: A Sabah Puteri Umno delegate came to the defence of the Eastern Sabah Security Command (Esscom), saying it is not a waste of funds as claimed by the Opposition.
Kimanis Puteri Umno chief Saudah Sarzaman said Esscom had resolved many security issues in East Malaysia, and urged the Government to swiftly implement the RM660mil budget allocated for the security initiative in 2015.
