KUALA LUMPUR: Race should not be an issue when it comes to exemptions on repaying education loans, said MCA president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai.
Commenting on a call that only excelling bumiputra students should be exempted from repaying National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) loans, he said: “We have to boost our next generation by grooming their academic talents, irrespective of race.”
