MCA welcomes PM’s assurance


PETALING JAYA: MCA has welcomed Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak’s assurance that vernacular education is part of Barisan Nasional’s manifesto.

Party president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai said the Prime Minister’s recent comments that vernacular schools would not be abolished reinforced the fact that Malaysia’s social contract was based on the premise of inclusiveness.
