PETALING JAYA: DAP lawmaker Tony Pua was served with a letter of demand by lawyers of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak over his remarks made at a DAP fund-raising dinner on Nov 3 which was uploaded on YouTube.

Najib’s counsel Datuk Mohd Hafarizam Harun said the letter was served on Pua, who is Petaling Jaya Utara MP, at 3pm Friday.

“In the video, he alleged that Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak is acting like a king, involved in the biggest scandal in history and robbing people.

“We’ve asked for a written apology and urged him to retract his statements,” said Hafarizam when contacted by The Star Online.

Pua confirmed that he received the notice from Najib's legal team.
