YONG PENG: Effective programmes and proactive measures are needed to guide those who are not proficient in Bahasa Malaysia, especially the older generation, says Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong (pic).

He hoped that Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka (DBP) could outline the programmes to reach out to the target group.
