Najib to outline ‘people-centred’ vision for region


NAYPYITAW: With Malaysia gearing for the chairmanship of the regional body next year, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak will detail his vision of a “People-Centred Asean” at the grouping’s 25th summit which kicks off today.

The Prime Minister arrived in Myanmar’s administrative capital here last night for the two-day summit which will end with a ceremony tomorrow where the host country will hand over the Asean chair to Malaysia.
