KUALA LUMPUR: Any postponement of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) will create a lot of uncertainty that may hurt the country’s economy, says Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Chua Tee Yong.
“Some businesses have started preparing for GST and the Government has also been gearing towards replacing the Sales and Services Tax (SST),” he said at a press conference after a certificate presentation ceremony by the Board of Valuers, Appraisers and Estate Agents (Bovaea) here yesterday.
