KUALA LUMPUR: The Government will work with non-governmental organisations to ensure that only genuine applicants get soft loans set aside for Chinese small and medium enterprises (SMEs), said Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong.
Dr Wee said the Federation of Malaysia Chinese Guilds Association, the Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (ACCCIM) along with the SME Association Malaysia were in a position to determine who should be considered for the loans.
