Sodomy II: Defence wraps up case, proceedings to resume Friday

PUTRAJAYA: The Federal Court adjourned Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s sodomy appeal to Friday morning following lead prosecutor Tan Sri Muhammad Shafee Abdullah’s request to be allowed time to prepare a skeletal submission.

The panel headed by Chief Justice Tun Ariffin Zakaria granted the prosecution’s request after Anwar’s counsel Ramkarpal Singh wrapped up the defence’s case at around 1pm, Thursday.
