LABIS: When retiree Paiman Anuar obtained the land title to his house after four decades, it brought back romantic memories of how his village came to be known as Kampung Desa Temu Jodoh.
In 1973, Paiman, then 26, came to an oil palm estate called Sungai Lenek with about 120 young men to take part in a land development project.
