Two children killed, seven injured in truck-car collision


KOTA KINABALU: Two children died and seven other people were seriously injured when a four-wheel drive pick up truck smashed into their car late Tuesday some 26kms from the east coast town of Sandakan.

The two girls aged seven and eight, whom police have yet to identify, were pronounced dead at the Duchess of Kent hospital in Sandakan following the 5.45pm mishap.
