PETALING JAYA: A group of activists and lawyers has condemned the Malaysian Bar’s effort to call for the repeal of the Sedition Act 1948, calling it an affront to the Constitution.
The group said in a statement that it supported the continued use of the Act, calling it a good law as it protects the position of Islam, Bahasa Malaysia and Malay rights.
