PETALING JAYA: Cuepacs president Datuk Azih Muda has welcomed the move by the Customs Department to rotate its officers, including those with high ranks, saying it will help address negative perceptions of corruption in the public sector.
He said the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) had in the past proposed that public servants in “sensitive” jobs, such as in Customs, should consider enforcing a five-year posting limit after which they must be sent to other places.
