PETALING JAYA: Not more than 250 Lexus IS and Lexus LS cars in Malaysia have been affected by the global recall due to defects in the vehicles, according to the local dealer of the marque.

"We have received confirmation from Toyota Motor Corporation in Japan that there is a combined number of less than 250 Lexus IS and Lexus LS cars in Malaysia sold by UMW Toyota Motor Sdn Bhd that are involved in this special service campaign," a company source told The Star Online Wednesday.
