Woman fails in bid to kill husband and is on the run


A woman who allegedly tried to kill her ailing husband by pushing him off the Ramganga Bridge has been forced to flee from home as her husband was rescued and survived to expose her. Police are hunting for her, reported Makkal Osai.

Maya from Azad Nagar in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, North India was fed up of tending to her bedridden husband who has been sick for the past three years. She took him to the Ramganga Bridge on Friday evening and pushed him into the river, expecting him to drown and the body swept away.
