Shelters trying to change mindsets on pedigree pets

KULAIJAYA: As the country celebrates World Animal Day, shelters are still struggling to convince Malaysians to adopt strays instead of spending thousands on pedigree pets.

There are even some who call up shelters to see if there are pedigree animals up for adoption, said the Homeless and Orphan Pets Exist (H.O.P.E).
