‘SMUE funds not frozen, to continue under Azmin Ali’

PETALING JAYA: State funding for senior citizens in Bandar Tun Razak will continue under Selangor Mentri Besar Azmin Ali, said Bandar Tun Razak PKR division chief Azman Abidin on Thursday.

“The statement released by Faekah Husin on Oct 1 which stated that the Selangor state government has frozen the Mesra Usia Emas (SMUE) assistance scheme to the parliamentary constituency of Bandar Tun Razak and state constituency of Port Klang on the orders of Mentri Besar Azmin Ali is untrue,” he said.
