GEORGE TOWN: The suspension of Penang Pas treasurer Iszuree Ibrahim (pic) from all posts that he held in the Penang Island Municipal Council (MPPP) was made based on media reports and not through internal investigations.
The matter was confirmed by political secretary to the Chief Minister, Wong Hon Wai who also claimed that Iszuree was given the opportunity to clarify the issue through a media conference.
