KAJANG: A downpour on Monday afternoon caused flash floods in Kajang town.
Kajang Municipal Council (MPKj) public relations officer Kamarul Izlan Sulaiman said the heavy rain that started around 4.30pm, lasted for more than one hour, resulting in water level to rise quickly.
Cars were partially submerged in low-lying areas and people had to wade through the flood waters which later receded in the evening.
