KUALA LUMPUR: Those seeking temporary refuge at the Welfare Department’s Anjung Singgah halfway homes will be screened and counselled before being given a place.
Cases that the homes cannot handle, involving mental health patients and drug users, will be referred to other agencies, said Women, Family and Community Development Deputy Minister Datin Paduka Chew Mei Fun.
