Subra confirms college students with ILI not under quarantine


KUANTAN: Although more than 100 students at the Temerloh Voca­tional College have shown symptoms of being afflicted with an influenza-like illness (ILI), they have not been quarantined, said Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr S. Subramaniam.

He said in a statement that investigations showed 137 out of 531 students at the college had shown light influenza symptoms during the period of Sept 17 to Sept 21, but they were stable and being treated as outpatients.
