Ali was charged with sedition on Sept 8, accused of posting seditious remarks on Facebook in January, which allegedly insulted the Johor royalty.
Ali’s lawyer, New Sin Yew, told reporters outside the court here that he does not know why Ali was rearrested and taken to Johor if the accusation with regards to posting seditious messages on Facebook in Kuala Lumpur.
