KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia will not achieve developed nation status by 2020 if crime prevention laws such as the Sedition Act 1948 are abolished, said a former Inspector-General of Police (IGP) and a former Appeals Court judge.
Former IGP Tan Sri Musa Hassan said that without the enforcement of stricter laws for crimes, peace and prosperity will be affected.
