SHAH ALAM: Seven senior Customs officers have been charged in the Sessions Court here with nearly 100 counts of accepting bribes of between RM500 and RM298,000 under the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Act 2009.
Senior assistant director Datuk Saad Ishak, 57, faces nine counts of accepting a total of RM29,000 in bribes from a “Malaysian citizen” as an inducement not to impose duties on goods comprising liquor.
