KUALA LUMPUR: The Sedition Act is not enacted by Parliament and is therefore unconstitutional, said lawyer Gobind Singh Deo in an application that challenges the constitutionality of the Act.
He said the original Sedition Ordinance was enacted in 1948, prior to Malaya getting its independence.
