Man injured after falling off roof in escape bid


MALACCA: A man who lost his identity card last month suffered serious injuries after falling from the roof of his neighbour’s house in an attempt to escape from the authorities in Taman Peruna Sungai Udang Monday.

National Registration Department (NRD) Investigation and Enforcement Division director Wan Zakaria Wan Awang said in the 1.50am incident, a 29-year-old man ran to the roof of his younger brother's house before trying to jump to the neighbour's house when he fell.
