PETALING JAYA: An NGO chief’s remarks on the activities of a gold processing company, which was used as an issue in the general election last year, turned out to be more political than environmental, said the MCA.
Party central committee member Datuk Ti Lian Ker (pic) said the issue, which Wong Kin Hoong, the chairman of Pahang Raub Ban Cyanide in Gold Mining Action Committee, harped on was made into a political tool as what was claimed could not be proven.
