Resident committee chairman apologises to company over defamatory online article


KUALA LUMPUR: A resident committee chairman who had been sued by Raub Australian Gold Mining Sdn Bhd for defamation acknowledged that he could not justify the content of an online article, which quoted him published two years ago.

Wong Kin Hoong, who expressed regret for any embarrassment caused by his remark made in the article on Aug 2, 2012, said: “I acknowledge that I am not aware of any justification to the contents of the article.”
