Ananda Krishnan faces charges in India


PETALING JAYA: The Times of India, India’s top English daily, reported that Malaysian tycoon Tan Sri Ananda Krishnan has been charged along with seven others by India’s Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

It reported that former telecom minister Dayanidhi Maran, his brother Kalanidhi Maran and six others, including Ananda, as well as four companies were charged by the CBI in a special court on Friday in relation to an Aircel-Maxis deal.
