GEORGE TOWN: A security guard foiled a bank robbery in Sungai Dua here when he shot one of the robbers twice, killing him instantly.
The robber, aged 39, who donned a fake moustache and a baseball cap, entered the bank at about 11.15am yesterday and shouted “robbery!” in Mandarin before pouring petrol on the counter and the floor.
