Selangor MB crisis: Wan Azizah the sole candidate because she’s capable, says Anwar

KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail’s name will be submitted as the sole candidate for the post of Selangor Mentri Besar not because she is the wife of de-facto Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim but because she is PKR president and capable.

“She has a track record as a former leader of the opposition in the Malaysian parliament,” Anwar told reporters at the Kuala Lumpur Court Complex here, Wednesday.
