Woman claims trial to scalding domestic helper


GEORGE TOWN: A company director cum insurance consultant claimed trial in a Magistrate’s Court Wednesday to scalding her domestic helper with boiling water last week.

Lim Lee Poh, 44, from China Street, was alleged to have caused hurt on Koay Ley Kheng, 24, in an apartment in Jalan Bukit Bendera, Air Itam here at around 4.30am on Aug 20.
