PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang’s political secretary has dismissed allegations that the PAS president had asked PKR deputy president Azmin Ali to join the Islamist party with a view to the latter becoming Selangor Mentri Besar.

In a statement Tuesday, Dr Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar said Hadi had never made such offers, which were allegedly at the centre of discussions when the PAS president met with the Bukit Antarabangsa assemblyman recently.
