KUALA TERENGGANU: Terengganu PAS reminded PKR not to make the party the scapegoat over the defeats of PKR candidates in the state in the last general election (GE13).

Its commissioner, Satiful Bahri Mamat, said Terengganu PKR should be resolving their internal problems and work hard by strengthening their party machinery at the grassroots level.

"Don't just want to contest and use PAS' machinery, by right both parties must strengthen their own party machineries in facing elections.

"Sometimes there are just divisions (PKR's) but no branches, so this is what needs to be addressed first by Terengganu PKR," he told a press conference here.

He said this in response to a claim by Azlan Che Mata, a delegate from Terangganu at PKR's annual congress in Shah Alam, who had blasted PAS for fielding its candidates in seats which PKR was contesting in the state in GE13.
