RUMOURS that a student in a girl’s school in Pallavaram, about 100km from Chennai, had been raped and killed caused outraged parents to stage a protest, reported Makkal Osai.
However, the rumours were later believed to have been started by those who could not get their children admitted into the popular school, St Theresa’s Girls’ Higher Secondary School.
