SIBU: The police will apply to the court to extend the remand of a 42-year-old man who allegedly raped his mother-in-law.
OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Kamal Kordi said the seven-day remand of the suspect would end next Tuesday, adding that an extended remand was necessary as the police were still investigating the case under Section 376 (3) of the Penal Code for rape.
