KUALA LUMPUR: About 200 people, including about 100 customers, were evacuated after a fire broke out at a popular textile and garment shopping mall along Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman here.
The mall’s sales assistant Annurul Izzati Fauzi, 20, said that she was on the way to the toilet, which is located on the first floor of the seven-storey building, when she smelled smoke.
