Suhaizan said it was based on these considerations that PAS decided on taking the middle ground by naming PKR deputy president Azmin Ali "as an alternative" should the Ruler decides to reject Dr Wan Azizah.
"PAS can propose a name from its own party members as an alternative to Wan Azizah, however, out of the spirit of comradeship in Pakatan Rakyat, the decision could not be made by PAS," said Suhaizan.
