Best of Swiss timepieces on show

KUALA LUMPUR: Time Kulture, Swiss Watch Gallery’s exhibition of fascinating timepieces, was launched last night.

The contemporary showcase, which runs until Aug 24 at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, features a wide array of international brands.

These include Maurice Lacroix, Alpina, Frederique Constant, Longines, Oris, Tag Heuer, Tissot and Tudor.

Ashvin Valiram, executive director of Valiram-owned Swiss Watch Gallery, said: “Time Kulture will premiere the top picks from Basel 2014.

“It is a platform for a seamless interactive showcase where customers will have first-hand access to many timepieces which will make their debut here.”

Among the many activities at the exhibition are demonstrations on watch testing.

Strategic and lifestyle partners for the Time Kulture showcase are Maybank, Citroën, The Star, Starwood Resorts and Hotels, Samsung, Broker’s London Dry Gin and Sennheiser.

Swiss Ambassador Dr Rolf Lenz was at the event while Star Publications (M) Bhd was represented by acting group chief editor Leanne Goh.
