Final batch of volunteers leaves for Gaza


SEPANG: The third and final batch of volunteers from Kelab Putera 1Malaysia’s (KP1M) humanitarian mission to Gaza was given a VIP send-off here last night.

Led by club president Datuk Seri Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim, the group departed for Cairo from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport watched by guests of honour such as Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Datuk Hasan Malek, Malacca Chief Minister Datuk Idris Haron as well as the Palestinian Ambassador to Malaysia Dr Anwar Al Agha.
