PKR and DAP want Khalid to prove majority support

PETALING JAYA: PKR and DAP have demanded that embattled Selangor Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim prove that he still commands the majority in the Selangor State Legislative Assembly.

“Khalid must prove to the rakyat the majority support which he claims he has. This includes calling for a meeting of the state assembly for a vote of confidence or any manner to prove he has the support of PAS and Umno state assemblymen,” the parties said in a joint statement issued by PKR secretary-general Datuk Saifuddin Nasution and Selangor DAP chief Tony Pua yesterday.
