ALOR GAJAH: The Malacca government is to tighten business licence renewal conditions to require coffee shops to do away with signboards bearing the logos of liquor brands.
Housing, Local Government and Environment Committee chairman Datuk Ismail Othman said 7-Eleven convenience stores in Muslim-majority areas in the state such as Masjid Tanah, would be prohibited from selling liquor.
