Luas: No water rationing in Selangor needed yet, dam levels still under control

PETALING JAYA: No water rationing is needed in Selangor yet, with water levels in Selangor dams still under control despite the current El Nino phenomenon, said Selangor Water Management Authority (Luas) director Md Khairi Selamat.

"Even though there has been a decrease in rainfall due to the El Nino phenomenon, Luas wishes to explain that the current water supply situation is under control, and water rationing is not needed yet," said Md Khairi in a statement on Saturday.
